Brunish Richard D Grocery - A Hidden Gem in Pottstown, PA | Review

This is a no frill joint. But you won't find a better hoagie anywhere. I get to eat here about once a year when I come home. I always take a couple of the hot sausages for my mom. I've been going to this place for about fifty years.

I LOVE BRUNISH'S! Hot sausages and hoagies are AMAZING!!! Also have A-Treat sodas and the Tastykake delivery guy is there delivering fresh stuff all the time. Dan, the owner, is a really nice guy and great to talk to. Great staple in the community.

A true American family business thats been here forever it seems. An awesome stop for a quick treat or a world famous sausage! I love stopping in here and buying packs of them to take to bbq's. I can see why they are world famous. I haven't been able to replicate as deliaciously amazing as they are when you get them already made from their warmer a must have for a quick stop. Love seeing old time local family businesses like this around still supported by their local community. A treasure of a place for sure.

WARNING HIDDEN GEM THIS PLACE IS AMAZING‼‼‼ to be fair it’s not updated and the location is not ideal for a business but you have to look past the visuals and focus on what they are selling and serving as a whole. their food is AMAZING a true hidden gem. their hot dogs are house made along with their hot sausage / subs and more. the menu is small but packs a powerful flavor punch. there is a reason why they are there , it’s a special place for a treat to be had. drinks and snacks are available too. they have also chicken salad , meat ball sub, medium hot sausage , chili dogs / w cheese , and a little more options that i don’t remember what it was else . in the photos are chili & cheese dogs i myself always get 3 dogs with mustard , ketchup , and relish BBQ CHIPS and this time i got a few chili and cheese dogs both are AMAZING‼‼‼ they don’t have any rough parts in the meat so it’s always a smooth bite with flavor . you just have to try it and see . it’s a old school style of serving so they serve them wrapped up in napkins so get ready to eat with your hands and dig into a mess of flavor . different but fun too . 10/10 love the people there , they always are very nice to me .

Take a trip back to 1962. This is what I experienced today when I visited Brunish's for the first time. I ordered two large Italian and wow, the weight of these are immense. The taste of these hoagies were just as impressive as the weight. Great job, Brunish's.

Don't be put off by the appearance. They have the best Hot Sausage anywhere. Their Hoagies & Cheesesteaks are like an open face sandwich they have so much meat. Good Fries too.

This hoagie was amazing. Grew up on the hot dogs and sausages but the hoagies are worth the trip Also.
